Playland’s Castaway Cove replaces their star attraction, loop coaster, Python, with new, triple-launch roller coaster, GaleForce. Operating from 1996-2015 and located on 10^th street (along with the Flitzer coaster), Python was known for its signature looping capabilities.

Northwest Coasters dismantled the coaster, making room for a bigger and thrilling ride, GaleForce, which still appeals to Playland’s family-oriented base. Our team then renovated, painted, and reinstalled Python for CJ Barrymore’s Family Entertainment Center, a Michigan-based indoor and outdoor amusement park that features rides, a bowling alley, arcade, and more.
